Greetings,
I’m Tonya Schumacher, founder of Golden Light Pathways—an LLC devoted to helping create a more compassionate, sustainable, and connected world for people, animals, and the Earth. This vision has unfolded naturally over time through listening deeply to life, learning from experience, and following the quiet guidance of my heart and soul.
Growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, I discovered a deep love for nature, animals, and helping others. Those early experiences taught me the importance of kindness, community, and perseverance. Like many, I walked through moments of challenge that expanded my understanding of resilience and deepened my compassion for others. These experiences became stepping stones toward a broader awareness of how we can live with greater peace, authenticity, balance, and harmony with the natural world and the animals who share this planet with us. Nature and animals are part of who we are—and we are here to support one another.
While returning to college from 2009–2016 to change careers, I served as Chapter President of my local Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, leading the chapter to national recognition. I also served as President of Business Professionals of America at both the state and local levels, guiding those chapters to national recognition as well. During this time, I received several local, state, and national honors, including the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Yet the most meaningful lessons did not come from titles or achievements—they came from life itself, and from learning to move through challenges with openness, humility, and heart. I also discovered how deeply time in nature, connection with animals, and quiet inner reflection supported me through those times.
As my journey continued, a calling gradually became clear: to help create spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, with one another, animals, and with nature. Golden Light Pathways emerged as a heart-centered expression of that calling—a sanctuary devoted to conscious living, collaboration, compassion, rejuvenation, creativity, transformation, remembrance, and learning to live in harmony with the Earth and all living beings.
Alongside this work, I founded Pathway to a Brighter Future LLC, a creative platform where I share books focused on inner growth, mindfulness, and positive change that begins from within. My digital art expressions can also be found across many platforms.
My path has woven together service, leadership, mastery, and self-realization in meaningful ways. Today, I live what I consider a life of presence and purpose—guided by love, compassion, truth, and freedom. My work is not about saving or fixing others; it is about inspiring remembrance. I support people as they rediscover their own inner wisdom, strength, and light, and as they recognize the profound harmony that emerges when humans reconnect with nature and animals. I do not see myself above anyone. I walk this path alongside others as a fellow traveler who values authenticity, kindness, and service.
Everyone who resonates with this vision brings their own unique gifts and sovereignty. Golden Light Pathways is rooted in co-creation rather than hierarchy—a living sanctuary where compassion, joy, truth, and creativity naturally flourish. It is a place to learn, to grow, to laugh, and simply to be. A place where people, animals, and nature thrive together in harmony—and where every soul is reminded of its worth, its purpose, and its power to shine.
